About PGDM Course

The two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) trains students to become excellent managers and decision-makers with a global perspective and practical knowledge. Students acquire specific skills in areas such as accounting, economics, finance, management & human resources development, information systems, international business & environment, marketing, quantitative techniques, production and operations management, and strategic management.

The program is offered in multiple formats:

The Full-time PGDM and the Professional PGDM programs are spread over 2 years with 3 terms in each year of study. The first year is devoted to developing business fundamentals through core courses in the areas of Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management and Human Resources Development, Information Systems, International Business and Environment, Marketing, Quantitative Techniques, and, Production and Operations. The second year offers a number of elective functional subjects. The flexibility in the system ensures that students do not compromise on their desired area of pursuit. Students also get exposure to soft skills such through coursework on business plan practicum, industry analysis, country studies, and, consulting practicum. The integration of functional areas begins from the start of the program with a required workshop on New Venture Creation.

The two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) consists of three terms each year.

The curriculum consists of 90 credits of 1200 contact hours in:
