Full-Time Integrated MBA (FIMBA)

Program Structure


India Component

  • The students will have to complete the first part of the program at NMS prior to joining the FIMBA program at GVSU
  • The first part of the program at NMS consists of 27 credits
  • During the first part of the program, students will take the following courses
    - Accounting - 3 credits
    - Finance - 3 credits
    - Management   - 3 credits
    - Marketing - 3 credits
    - Information Systems - 3 credits
    - Economics - 3 credits
    - Quantitative techniques - 3 credits
    - Business Research - 1.5 credits
    - International Business - 1.5 credits
    - Legal environment - 1.5 credits
    - Government, Business & Society   - 1.5 credits

  • Upon successful completion of the program the students will receive a "Certificate of Business Core" from NMS in recognition of their completion of the first part

GVSU Component

  • The FIMBA consists of the following courses for 42 Credits
    - Quantitative Analysis for Business Decisions - 2 credits
    - Essential Business Technologies - 1 credits
    - Basics of Integrated Business Processes    - 3 credits
    - Integrated Business Processes with ERP Systems - 15 credits
    - Global Strategy - 9 credits
    - Sustainability Principles & Practices - 1.5 credits
    - Corporate Strategy for Business Cycles - 3 credits
    - Business Ethical Problems & Perspectives - 1.5 credits
    - Leadership and Ethics - 3 credits
    - Business Fellowship - 3 credits

  • During the fall semester (Sept-Dec), all students attend the Washington Campus program in Washington, D.C. for 3 to 5 days where they study the business/government relationship and the political and economic environments. Winter semester (Jan-March) courses are enhanced by study abroad, where all students spend up to two weeks immersed in the global marketplace. Travel and other accommodations are made by the Seidman College and included in the cost of the program.
