Why are courses offered in alternate weeks?

Each course is offered in a 20-hour module across 5 days in the week. Students will not have classes for more than 5 hours in a day. The professor visiting from the United States will ensure that all the content is available in the electronic platform one week in advance for the course concerned. Students, therefore, can prepare for the course ahead of time. The week after the course is completed is a free week when any loose ends are completed by the student by uploading assignments to the electronic platform. The students can also prepare for the next course during this free-week. It is during this free week that CXOs will visit our campus to meet with students. During their visit, since there are no classes scheduled, students will be free to meet with these visiting CXOs without any conflicting schedule.
